The McDonald’s All American Games (McDAAG) are where hoop dreams become reality—a legendary stage where top high school athletes shine and inspire the next generation to dream big.

For the first time, McDAAG partnered with Happy Meal to connect with young fans early in their journey. It’s a natural fit—McDonald’s has always been part of everyday wins, from post-practice pick-ups to youth league celebrations, making it the perfect teammate to inspire the next generation.

We created the “You Got Next” campaign to fuel kids’ love of the game and help them see themselves on the court. Through basketball-themed toys and a digital arcade-style experience, the Happy Meal becomes a launchpad for future hoop stars. The journey starts here. YOU GOT NEXT.

You Got Next
Each Happy Meal came with a toy hoop and launcher that activated a digital experience when placed over a phone or tablet's front-facing camera. The game recognized made shots, triggering real-time scoring, sound effects, and even announcers cheering you on! Every shot became a chance to level up, compete with the family, and play like the pros.

First Half
We split the game into two action-packed halves, complete with crowd cheers and announcer hype—plus a high-stakes crunch time where points scored big.
Halftime Show
To inspire the next generation, we turned halftime into a moment of motivation—complete with announcer commentary to cheer players on and gear them up for the second half.
Second Half
Players wrapped up the second half with their high score on display—and a top score to beat, fueling friendly competition and repeat play..
